5. Both sides of vehicle: Remove wheel axle nut

6. Both sides of vehicle: Remove and discard the two
front brake caliper mounting bolts and remove the
caliper from the brake disc.
CAUTION
Do not hang the caliper by the brake line. Use wire to
hang caliper to prevent damage to the brake line.
7. Remove lower shock fastener

and sway bar link

. Move shock and sway bar link out of the
way.
CAUTION
Front suspension must be supported with a strap or
jack before the shock is removed, and must not be
allowed to hang unsupported at full droop. If hung
unsupported, the weight of the suspension will be
applied to the tie rod, resulting in a bent or damaged
inner tie rod.
8. With a short, sharp jerk, remove half shaft from the
front gearcase.
9. Remove four fasteners

and remove the front
bumper.
10.Remove two front gearcase isolator fasteners

11. Loosen, but do not remove two vertical bolts
a
.
12.Remove and discard roll pin from front prop shaft.
13.Disconnect two front gearcase electrical harnesses.
