Ifnopositiondataisavailablethenthelatitude,longitudeandtimecanbeenteredmanuallysothatit
canbeincludedinDSCdistresstransmissions.
PositiondatareceivedfromothervesselscanbedisplayedonaconnectedRaymarine®multifunction
display.
EnablinganddisablingtheinternalGNSS(GPS)

GPSset-upmenu: Menu>Set-up>GPSset-up
1.SelectIntegratedGPS.
Selecting IntegratedGPSwillswitchtheradio’sinternalGNSSreceiverOnandOff.

Y ourradioincludesabuilt-inGNSS(GPS)receiverthatcanbeusedtoobtainpositiondata.Your
radiocanalsousepositiondatafromaGNSS(GPS)receiverconnectedtothesameSea Talkng®or
NMEA2000network.
Ifyourradio’sinternalreceivercannotobtainapositionfixorifyourradio’sinternalreceiveris
switchedoffthenanetworkdatasourceforshallbeusedinstead,ifavailable.
Nopositiondata
Ifnopositiondataisavailableorpositiondatabecomesunavailable;after10minutesanaudible
warningissounded,theGNSS(GPS)iconflashesandtheNopositiondatamessageisdisplayed.
OncethewarninghasbeenacknowledgedtheGNSS(GPS)iconwillcontinuetoflash.TheNo
positiondatawarningisrepeatedevery4hoursifpositiondataisstillunavailable,hasnotbeen
enteredmanuallyorhasbeenenteredmanuallybutover23.5hoursago.
Ifpositiondatahasbeenenteredmanuallythedisplayalternatesbetweendisplayingthemanual
positionandtimeandtheManualPositionmessage.ifthemanuallyenteredpositionhasnotbeen
updatedinthelast4hourstheGNSS(GPS)iconflashesandanaudiblewarningissounded.This
warningwillberepeatedevery4hoursuntilpositionismanuallyupdatedorpositiondatabecomes
available.
Wherenopositiondataisavailableorhasnotbeenmanuallyupdatedfor23.5hoursthenposition
datawillchangeto‘9’sandtimewillchangeto‘8’s.

IfGNSS(GPS)positiondataisnotavailableitcanbeenteredmanually.
