4. The Pattern settings screen is displayed, showing the parameters currently set
for the selected pattern. If you want to change any of the parameters:
i. Select the parameter you want to change,
then press
OK
to select the setup screen.
ii. Use the Rotary Control to set the value you
want, then press
OK
to save the setting and
return to the Pattern settings screen.
iii. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as necessary, for other
parameters.
3.4 System configuration
The system configuration determines the function of each display (Instrument or Pilot
Controller) and the manner in which displays and keypads are grouped.
Changing system configuration
The system configuration is set during commissioning to provide an optimum system
for the boat. It should not normally need to be changed, unless you make major
changes to the boat or to the way you operate it. Before making any changes to the
system configuration, carefully plan the changes you want to make.
To change the configuration of the ST70+system:
1. At any display, press
MENU
to display the
Main menu
.
2. Scroll to
Advanced options
then press
OK
to display the
Advanced options
menu.
3. Scroll to
Setup wizard
.
This is the last point at which you can decide not to go ahead with changing the
system configuration. If you want to abandon the process, press
CANCEL
.
4. Otherwise, press
OK
to start the setup wizard.
5. Referring to Chapter 2:Commissioning Procedures, carry out the Initial setup pro-
cedure from Selecting language to Leaving units setup (pages 14 to 20).
WARNING:
Do not change the configuration of ST70+ unless the boat is securely
tied up alongside, with engines off.
