2. Do not disassemble the scanner unit.
Releasing Plastic Latches
Many of the parts are held in place with plastic latches. The latches break easily, so release them
carefully. To release a latch, press the hook end of the latch away from the part to which it is latched.
After Servicing the Machine
1. Make sure all parts that require grounding are properly grounded.
2. Make sure the interlock switch is functioning.
3.
Do not leave unused solder or parts inside the machine.
4. Do not leave any tools inside the machine.
5. Make sure all wires are properly connected and routed.
6. Make sure wires are not jammed between parts of the machine.
