correctly.
• An ink cartridge that is a
different color to the one
displayed has been set.
• The ink cartridge of the
displayed color is not
locked.
• The IC chip which is built
into the ink cartridge of the
displayed color is
defective.
• Set the ink cartridge of the
displayed color correctly.
• Check that the ink
cartridge of the displayed
color is locked.
• Replace the ink cartridge
of the displayed color. For

replace the cartridge, see
page 235 "Replacing an
Ink Cartridge".

• The displacement cartridge
is not set correctly.
• An ink cartridge other than

displacement cartridge is
locked.
