17.3 Charging the spring energy store manually
During manual operation or if the auxiliary voltage fails (motor operating mechanism),
the spring energy store must be charged manually. The closing and opening springs are
charged automatically after applying control voltage.
Auxiliary means required: Operating lever.
The opening for the operating lever is located top-left at the control board.
Ö Open the locking device.
Ö Insert the operating lever.
Ö Turn the operating lever approx. 70° clockwise until the "spring charged" indication
appears in the inspection window.
Ö Remove the operating lever.
Ö The control gate moves to the center position automatically.
The actuating opening is closed.
r The closing and opening springs of the circuit-breaker are charged.
The circuit-breaker can be closed and opened again.
