11.2 Derating of the ET 200SP F-TM ServoDrive
Maximum permitted output current as a function of installation altitude and ambient temperature
You must take into account the dependency on the ambient temperature and installation
altitude.
Derating of the F-TM ServoDrive depends on the installation elevation.
For all permissible mounting types, starting from an installation altitude of 1000 m, a derating
of 10% current per additional 1000 m elevation gain applies. In this case, the motor current
and the output current of the digital outputs must be reduced.
All other functions do not have to be reduced up to the maximum installation altitude.
The figure below shows the maximum permitted output current as a function of installation
altitude for the derating.
Derating of the F-TM ServoDrive depends on the ambient temperature (horizontal/vertical
mounting position).
When mounted horizontally (horizontal mounting rail), the F-TM ServoDrive may be operated
up to the maximum temperature (60 °C). Note the derating curve.
With vertical mounting (vertical mounting rail), the F-TM ServoDrive may be operated up to a
maximum of 50 °C. Note the derating curve.

Test signal suppression
The STO inputs can be dark tested. The dark test time is up to 1 ms.
