5.7 Clock
Properties of the real-time clock
The following table lists the properties and functions of the SIMOTION D clock.

In the POWER OFF state, the SIMOTION D clock continues to run during the backup time
(with
the exception of the software clock). The backup battery is recharged in the POWER ON
state.
An error message is output if the backup function is defective. When the power is switched
ON, the clock then resumes at the time set at the factory.
If the SIMOTION D4x5‑2 is reset to its factory setting, the clock is also reset to the "default
setting when delivered".
