3 Maintenance
Check / Add Transmission Oil
CHECK / ADD TRANSMISSION OIL
Hydro-Gear K216-3010L Models
Oil Type: 10W-40 Premium Engine Oil
Oil Capacity: 76 oz.
The transmission oil should be checked seasonally.
1. Locate the transmission oil overflow plug (A, Figure
X) on the right side of the transmission case.
2. Remove the plug and check the oil level. The oil
should be up to the bottom of the hole.
3. If the oil level is low, add oil through the fill tube
(Figure X) using a long funnel.
4. Replace the fill cap and overflow plug.
Tuff Torq K215 Models
Oil Type: 10W-30 Premium Engine Oil
Oil Capacity: 90 oz.
The transmission oil should be checked seasonally.
1. Locate the fill plug / dipstick.
2. Remove the plug and check the oil level on the dip-
stick (A, Figure 22). Add oil if necessary.
3. Replace the plug.

Oil Type: 10W-30 Premium Engine Oil
Oil Capacity: 124 oz.
1. Locate the fill plug / dipstick.
2. Remove the plug and check the oil level on the dip-
stick. Add oil if necessary.
3. Replace the plug.
