6C Foot Controls Repair
Brake Rod Service - Tuff Torq K215A
1. Remove the mower deck to provide easier access to
linkage components.
2. Remove the nut (A, Figure C–24) and washer that
secure the brake rod guide (D) to the idler arm
assembly. Remove the brake rod guide from the
idler arm assembly.
3. Remove the cotter pin and washer that attaches the
brake rod (E) to the transmission. Remove the brake
rod assembly.
Inspect the components for damage and replace as
necessary.
Reinstall in reverse order of disassembly.
