CRANKSHAFT THRUST CLEARANCE
ADJUSTMENT
• With the crankshaftís right-side and left-side thrust bearings
inserted into the upper crankcase, measure the thrust clear-
ance between the left-side thrust bearing and the crankshaft
using the thickness gauge.

R: Right-side thrust bearing

L: Left-side thrust bearing

