3-12 ENGINE
• Remove the valve inspection caps.
• Remove the front cylinder head cover.
NOTE:
When removing the cylinder head covers, the piston must be at
top dead center on the compression stroke. (

• Remove the rear cylinder head cover.
No. 1 (REAR)
CAM SHAFT AND SPROCKET
• Remove the cam chain tension adjusters 1 and 2.
No. 2 (FRONT)
• Remove the camshaft sprocket bolts 3.
• Remove the camshafts and sprockets.
