TB7300 Installation and Operation Manual Connecting to the Base Station 51
© Tait International Limited December 2022
4.4.13 Switching Application Packages
To switch between one software application package to another, you must
first activate the software in the inactive slot. Once that software is active,
the base station will reboot and the new software will begin running.
4.4.14 Subaudible Signaling
The purpose of CTCSS and DCS signaling is to reject transmissions from
radios that do not belong on the network.
Use of 250.3Hz and 254.1Hz CTCSS tones
The receiver has a known issue where reverse tone burst signaling on
CTCSS tones CTCSS 250.3Hz and 254.1Hz can briefly trigger the other
detector. Do not use both tones in the same network. If you use either of
them, be aware that there is a risk of falsing if co-channel transmissions are
using the other tone.
