4.8 Repeater mode
In Repeater mode, this device connects 2 or more (this device supports 4 at most) wired networks
with a wireless link, and can be connected with both wired and wireless clients. To use this
function, the peer AP is required to support WDS function. Repeater mode is used to achieve
communication between multiple offices of an enterprise in a city.
The CPE in Repeater mode can works with the CPE in Repeater or P2MP mode. It supports one to
four bridging at most.
Application scenario
You want to combine multiple wired networks into one in wireless manner. The network topology
is shown as below:
