MEASUREMENTS, LOGICAL STATES AND COUNTERS
Input function statuses
The statuses of the input functions assigned to the logical inputs (Read \ Input function status) are
available:
• Reset signals ON/OFF
• Calibration conguration ON/OFF
• Fault trigger ON/OFF
• External LF protection status ON/OFF
• Auxiliary 52a ON/OFF
• Auxiliary 52b ON/OFF
• Open ON/OFF
• Close ON/OFF
• Breaker monitoring ON/OFF
• Counter resets ON/OFF
• Fault triggers ON/OFF
• Enable 79 ON/OFF
• Disable 79 ON/OFF
• External command 79 ON/OFF
• Average measure reset ON/OFF
• Inversion command status ON/OFF
• Inversion ON/OFF
• Input RVS ON/OFF
• RVS ON/OFF
• Local ON/OFF
• Breaker fault ON/OFF
Relays
The status of the outputs and diagnostics for each output relay (Read \ Relay) are available:
• K1 Status ON/OFF
• K1 Diagnostics OK/NOT OK
• K2 Status ON/OFF
• K2 Diagnostics OK/NOT OK
• ......
• K5 Status ON/OFF
• K5 Diagnostics OK/NOT OK
Counters
Two series of counters are available for each protection threshold and control function (partial and
total); partial counters can be reset by the user, but total counters can only be reset by a level 1 user
and are thus password protected. Each partial counter automatically resets when it reaches 10000.
The counters can all be reset together with the command Reset partial counters in the
Commands \ Reset menu.
The counters include all pertinent information; they are ordered by function:
• Counters - 79
• Counters - 25
• Counters - 50/51
• Counters - 50N/51N
• Counters - 67N
• Counters - FSL
• Counters - CB
Partial counters
• P start counters - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• P trip counters - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• P logical block counters - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• ....
Total counters
• T start counter - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• T trip counter - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• T logical block counter - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• T selective block counter - xx (xx=I>, I>>...) 0…9999
• ....
Protection diagnostic status
All hardware and software functions of Thytronic protection devices are continuously checked, all
any faults are reported on the display, via the communications interfaces, LEDs and the output relays.
Detailed diagnostics are divided into two levels:
• Low level faults
• High level faults
