6.4 Mounting digital display and cabin
temperature sensor
Installation location
The temperature measured by the cabin temperature sensor
should realistically represent the actual room temperature.
DO NOT mount the digital display or the cabin temperature
sensor into the immediate vicinity of a supply air grille.
Select an installation location which is free from external
influences if possible. Among other things, the following
external influences should be avoided:
• Exposure to direct sunlight
•Radiators
• Kitchen cooker
• Light sources
• Compressor radiation
•etc.
It is advisable to mount the cabin temperature sensor in the
area of the return flow, e.g. on the back of the return air
grille.
Mount the cabin temperature sensor at the desired in-
stallation location.
Connect the sensor cable to the electrical box from the
outside.

Connect the connector of the cable for the digital display
on the back of the digital display. See Fig. 12.
Connect the cable for the digital display from the outside
to the electrical box.
See Fig. 14.
Fasten the digital display.
Mount the bezel on the digital display.
6.5 Accessories
6.5.1 Infrared remote control
An infrared remote control is available as an option.
The infrared remote control is based on the standard
protocols also used by television sets and other household
appliances. Although the Webasto control elements are
designed so that interference with most TV models is
avoided, the user should note that interactions with
television sets or other household appliances can occur in
certain cases.
NOTE
Direct sunlight and other heat sources can
impair the operation of the system.
NOTE
Only use the original Webasto BlueCool cable
for the digital display. Standard network cables
are not suitable.

Webasto digital display near other devices with
infrared receivers.
