11 LEGAL
11.1 MODIFICATION OF THE EQUIPMENT
WARNING: No unauthorized modification of this equipment is allowed!
11.2 WARRANTEE
XO CARE and the XO distributor warrant that this product is free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of installation.
XO CARE and the XO distributor extend the warranty to 36 months from the date of
installation under the condition that:
1. The XO distributor has filled out and returned the installation report to XO CARE
immediately after installation and
2. Preventive service and safety inspection is carried out and documented as
described in section 8!
XO CARE and the XO distributor holds no responsibility for defects due to ordinary
wear and tear, or if XO CARE’ s instructions on handling, cleaning, disinfection,
sterilization or service have not been adhered to.
XO CARE and the XO distributor undertake no responsibility for warranties, safety,
reliability and function if:
• the equipment has not been used, cleaned, disinfected and sterilized under
normal conditions for its intended purpose and in strict accordance with this
user manual and/or
• technical changes including repairs, adjustments/calibrations and
reconstructions not in conformity with XO CARE’s instructions have been
done and/or
• the product has been installed, serviced or repaired by anyone not certified by
XO CARE and/or
•
non-original spare parts and accessories have been used
Any claim for warranty must be made to the XO distributor.
11.3 EXPECTED SERVICE LIFE
The expected lifetime of XO FLEX is 10 years.
This means that XO CARE will support the product and supply spare parts from the
date of manufacturing plus 10 years. See
on the marking plate (section 11.12).
