Using Set Mode
The Set Mode permits configuring the various functions according to individual operating
needs and preferences.
Set Mode Operation
1. Press and hold the [DISP] key.
The SET MODE screen will be displayed.
2. Touch the desired item in Set Mode.
The Sub-menu screen will be displayed.
• You can also turn the DIAL knob to indicate a
menu item, and then press the [DISP] key to select
it.
3. Touch the desired Set Mode Sub-menu.
• Turn the DIAL knob to display a sub-menu that is not displayed, then touch it.
• You can also turn the DIAL knob to indicate a menu item, and then press the [DISP]
key to select it.
4. Rotate the DIAL knob to select the desired item to set.
[When there is no deeper level of menu items]
Go step 6.
[When there is deeper level of menu items]
5. Touch the desired item to set.
6. Rotate the DIAL to select the desired item to set.
7. Press the PTT switch to save the settings and return to normal operation.
On some setting screens, pressing PTT switch does not exit from Menu Mode. In
this case, press the [BACK] key several times to return to the frequency display
screen.
