Outboard motor serial number
The outboard motor serial number is stamped
on the label attached to the port side of the
clamp bracket.
Record your outboard motor serial number in
the spaces provided to assist you in ordering
spare parts from your Yamaha dealer or for
reference in case your outboard motor is sto-
len.

Key number
If a main key switch is equipped with the mo-
tor, the key identification number is stamped
on your key as shown in the illustration.
Record this number in the space provided for
reference in case you need a new key.

EC Declaration of Conformity
(DoC)
This declaration is included with outboard mo-
tors that conform to European regulations.
This outboard motor conforms to certain por-
tions of the European Parliament directive re-
lating to machinery.
Each conformed outboard motor accompa-
nied with EC DoC.EC DoC contains the fol-
lowing information;

● Model name
●
Product code of model (Approved model
code)
● Code of conformed directives

CE Marking
This label is affixed to outboard motors that
conform to European regulations.
Outboard motors affixed with this “CE”mark-
ing conform with the directives of; 98/37/EC,
94/25/EC - 2003/44/EC and 2004/108/EC.
