3. Turn the bolt “1” counterclockwise, and
then tighten it to the specified torque.
4. Fill the oil pump with engine oil through the
feed port “a”.
TIP:
While turning the oil pump driven gear, make
sure to fill the oil pump with engine oil up to the
brim of feed port.
5. Install the dowels “1”, a new gasket “2”,
and the oil pump “3”, and then tighten the
bolts “4” to the specified torque.
