1. Make sure the + and – terminals on the battery be lined up with the metallic points
in the battery compartment.
2. Insert battery to the plastic retainer clip and push down on the bottom section of
the battery until it clicks into place. It should be aligned with the bottom of the
phone.
3. Place the battery cover so that it covers the entire battery. Close the cover and
lock it into position. Make sure the battery cover is secure.
Charge the Battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery is not fully charged
when you purchase your phone, but there may be enough power in the battery to turn
the phone on. Charge the battery with the procedure indicated below.
Note: For maximum battery performance, it is recommended that you completely
charge the battery before using the phone for the first time. A new battery’s full
performance is achieved only after three complete charge and discharge cycles.
