ACF5000 FTIR ANALYZER SYSTEM | OI/ACF5000-EN REV. A 49
6 After the pressures have been adjusted to the respective set point, the
respective solenoid valve in the FID automatically connects the combus-
tion gas. The combustion gas regulation attempts to adjust the pres-
sure to the set point.
Flame ignition
7 Flame ignition is automatic.
Depending on the number of ignition attempts, flame ignition can take
up to 10 minutes.
On initial commissioning of the FID, it may occur that, depending on the
position of the combustion gas line, there is not sufficient combustion
gas available to ignite the flame at first. In this event, the ignition of the
flame needs to be restarted in the Standby/Restart FID menu
(see page 156).
The temperature of the flame is displayed in the Raw measurement
values auxiliary values menu in the Flame parameter. The flame
is considered to be "on" when the flame temperature is at least 30°C
higher than the detector temperature.
With the ignition of the flame, the actual commissioning of the FID is
ended.
CAUTION! The analyzer cabinet door must always kept closed during operation!
