Safety instructions
• The cable glands which are not used must be closed in
accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer and
the relevant standard applicable in the country of
installation.
• The power supply unit is described in Connecting the power
supply on page 44.
– The power supply is not suitable for installation in Zone 1
areas.
– If the power supply cannot be installed in ATEX Zone 2 or
outside the hazardous area, an approved and suitable
third-party power supply unit must be used for the
corresponding zone.
For more information, please contact the local ABB
representative.
• The PC with the software for service communication with
the analyzer must be placed in an explosion safe area. For
long distance communication it is recommended to use
the optional Ethernet connection.
