Communicate with DF1 Devices
You can configure the controller as a master or slave on a serial
communication network. Use serial communication to get information
to and from remote controllers (stations) when:
• the system contains three or more stations.
• communication occurs on a regular basis and requires
leased-line, radio, or power-line modems.
