This section describes the operations to be carried out on the engine and the tools required.
Automatic transmission
Transmission cover
- To remove the transmission cover, it is necessary
to remove the plastic cover first by inserting a
screwdriver in the slotted holes. Using the clutch
bell lock wrench shown in the figure, remove the
driven pulley shaft nut and washer.
Specific tooling
AP8140661 Lock wrench for clutch bell
- Pull out the cap/dipstick from the engine oil filling
tube.
- Remove the 10 screws.
- Now remove the transmission cover.
NOTE
WHEN REMOVING THE TRANSMISSION COVER, BE
CAREFUL NOT TO DROP THE CLUTCH BELL.
