Disassembling the fork

Using the Teflon shoes, lock the stem
in a vice and partially loosen the cap (3)
•
Provide a container with at least 0.5 l
(0.11 UK gal) (0.13 US gal) volume,
completely undo the stem from the fork
cap and drain the oil
•
Place the foot of the fork in the vice
supplied with specific protection and
warm up the indicated area with a heat
blower
•
Loosen and remove the screw (4) fix-
ing the fork foot
