8. Squeeze hose clip at fuel inlet port (D) and
remove hose from fuel lter.
9. Remove fuel pump module.
NOTE: Fuel pump module may contain
a small quantity of fuel. Hold fuel pump
module with inlet and outlet ttings pointing
upward until fuel can be drained into suit-
able container.
Installation
1. Install new fuel pump module into bracket.
2. Squeeze hose clip and install hose from
fuel lter onto fuel inlet port (D).
3. Firmly push quick disconnect tting on fuel
rail onto fuel outlet port (C). Gently tug t-
ting to verify that it is properly seated and
secure.
4. Connect fuel pump module connector (B).
Push in grey secondary lock to secure.
5. Squeeze clip and install EVAP tube (to
throttle body adapter) at top of fuel pump
module (A).
6. Install three hex screws to fasten fuel pump
module to bracket. Alternately tighten
screws to 78-96 in-lbs (9-11 Nm).
7. Turn ignition switch ON for two seconds,
and then OFF for 10 seconds. Turn the
ignition switch back to ON and check for
fuel leaks.

Fuel Rail/Fuel Injectors
Removal
1. See Safety Precautions, Relieve Fuel Sys-
tem Pressure.
2. See Access Cover/Blower Housing, Re-
moval.
3. See Air Cleaner Assembly, Removal.
4. Pull out green secondary lock and press to
disconnect fuel injector connectors.
5. Remove two hex ange screws to release
fuel injector cap anges from intake mani-
fold.
6. Remove two hex ange screws to release
fuel rail clamps from intake manifold.
7. Remove retaining clips to release fuel in-
jector caps from fuel injectors. Note orien-
tation of the retaining clips prior to removal.
8. Remove fuel injectors from intake manifold.
9. Squeeze two tabs on quick disconnect
tting to release fuel rail from fuel pump
module.
NOTE: Wrap shop towel around tting to
catch any fuel leakage.
