Configuring via Web-based Interface
Remote Access to Device
On the Advanced / Remote access to device page, you can configure access to the web-based
interface of the router. By default, the access from external networks to the router is closed. If you
need to allow access to the router from the external network, create relevant rules.

To create a new rule for the IPv4-based network, click the Add button in the Remote access
configuration IPv4 section. In the line displayed, you can specify the following parameters:
Parameter Description
IP address A host or a subnet to which the rule is applied.
Mask
The mask of the subnet.
Public port An external port of the router. You can specify only one port.
Protocol
The protocol available for remote management of the router.
To create a new rule for the IPv6-based network, click the Add button in the Remote access
configuration IPv6 section. In the line displayed, you can specify the following parameters:
Parameter Description
IP address

Protocol The protocol available for remote management of the router.
