Powering On the Printer
1. Pre ss๎the๎power๎switch.
2. Make๎sure๎that๎the๎printer๎powers๎on๎and๎begins๎initializing.๎
The๎LCD๎panel๎displays๎Initializing๎while๎the๎printer๎checks๎and๎
positions๎the๎ink๎ribbon๎and๎retransfer๎film.
During๎power๎on,๎the๎printerโs๎LCD๎panel๎displays๎the๎following๎
status๎messages:
๏ฎ๏ When๎operation๎checks๎are๎complete,๎Preheating๎is๎
displayed๎on๎the๎LCD๎panel๎for๎approximately๎two๎minutes๎
while๎the๎retransfer๎roller๎(and๎optional๎bend๎remedy๎
roller)๎warm๎to๎their๎operating๎temperatures.
๏ฎ๏ When๎ready๎to๎print,๎the๎LCD๎panel๎displays๎Ready.
3. The๎first๎time๎you๎print๎cards,๎initialize๎the๎ink๎ribbon๎and๎retransfer๎film.๎Refer๎to๎โInitializing๎
the๎Ink๎Ribbon๎and๎Retransfer๎Filmโ๎on๎page 22.
The๎printer๎can๎require๎sever al๎minutes๎between๎power๎on๎and๎the๎Ready๎status.
