Top Lighting-Board

Prerequisites

Remove the left side-panel. See "Removing the Left Side-Panel" on
page 25.

Remove the optical drive(s). See "Removing the Optical Drive(s)" on
page 37.

Remove the media-card reader, if installed. See "Removing the Media-
Card Reader" on page 41.
Removing the Top Lighting-Board
NOTE: Before disconnecting the cables from the top lighting-board, note the
location of the connectors, so that you can reconnect them correctly after you
replace the top lighting-board.

Disconnect all cables from the connectors on the top lighting-board.

Remove the screws that secure the top lighting-board to the chassis and
remove the top lighting-board.
