NOTE: The slot is keyed to ensure correct insertion of the card.

Press inward on the card to lock it into the slot.
Removing a VFlash Media Card
To remove the VFlash media, push inward on the card to release it, and pull
the card from the card slot.
RAID Battery
The information in this section applies only to systems with the optional
PERC controller cards without an integral battery backup unit.
Removing a RAID Battery

Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect
the system from the electrical outlet.

Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 84.

If required, free the power/data cables from the chassis walls.

Press the tab on the RAID battery cable connector and pull the cable
connector out of the connector on the storage card. See Figure 3-21.

Pull the battery carrier release tab, and lift the battery carrier out of the
battery carrier slots on the chassis. See Figure 3-21.

Pull back gently on the two tabs holding the RAID battery and lift the
RAID battery from the battery carrier. See Figure 3-21.
