Chapter 3 Installation
3.1 Opening and Checking the Package
The package is in large size and of heavy weight. Do not turn it upside-down. Visually
examine the package prior to unpacking. If any signs of mishandling or damage are
detected, contact the carrier to claim for damage.
Open the package and check the components according to the packing list. Inspect the
components for any damage. Let the service engineer of the manufacturer assemble the
system for you.
Keep the package for possible future transportation or storage.
CAUTION
When moving the device, avoid running into door frame or other objects.
3.2 Connecting AC Power
◆ Make sure that the AC power supply complies with the following specifications:
Operating Voltage and Input Voltage: 100-240V
Operating Frequency：50 Hz /60 Hz
◆ Use the provided power cable. Plug one end of the power cable to the power socket
of the system and the other end to a power output special for hospital usage.
3.3 Switching on the System
Prior to switching on the system, check if all the components are correctly connected and
if all the cables are in good condition. Make sure that the system is linked to the
protective earth.
If any sign of damage is detected, do not use the system. Replace the damaged parts or
contact biomedical engineer in the hospital or our service engineer immediately.
To switch on the main unit, long press the power key of it. If necessary, then turn on the
printer.
3.4 Switching off the System
When the system is not used, exit the biofeedback and stimulation system software. Long
press the power key of the main unit to turn off it(If a printer is connected and used, turn
off the printer).
