The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following modules can be operated in the module ba y of your no tebook:
• Second battery
• Second hard disk drive
•DVDRWdrive
•Blu-rayBD-Wdrive
• Weight Saver
• LIFEBOOK Bay Projector
Only use modules designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or r emoving the module.
Make sure that no fore ign objects enter the module bay.
You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to sw itch off the notebook.
Log off the module via the co rre spon ding symbol in the task bar.
The module can now be removed without any further actions being necessary.

► Slide the release mechanism (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold.
► Pull the m odule (2) out of the m odule bay.
