Information on the exact position of the speakers an d microphone can be

Please refer to chapter "
Key co mbinat ions", Page 27 for information on setting the volume
and also enabling/disabling the speakers using k ey combinations.
If you attach an external microphone, the built-in microphone is disabled.
When you connect headpho nes or external speakers, the built-in speakers are disabled.

SIM card
A SIM Card (Subscrib
er Identity Module) is a chip card which is inserted in a mobile telephone or
notebook to enable
access to a m obile radio network in conjunction with an installed UMTS module.
Follow the instruc
tions supplied by the provider of the SIM card.
The SIM ca rd slot i
s located in the battery compartment and can only
be accessed when t
he battery is removed.
Inserting the SIM card
Prepare fo r installation of the SIM card, s ee chapter "Preparing to remove component s", Page 62.

Slide the SIM card into the slot (1)
until it is felt to engage, as shown in
the battery compartment.
Complete the installation, see chapter "
Finishing component removal", Pa ge 64.
