GE Reason Switches
REASON SWITCHES-TM-EN-3
149
By default, no filter is applied, thus any protocol and any configured user can access
the equipment. If enabled, at the Add New Entry button, it is possible to insert a new
filter to be applied at the access interfaces. When clicked, it will appear the following
fields to be configured:
o Delete: click at the button to delete the filter at the row;
o VLAN ID: specify the VLAN identifier allowed to access
management interfaces. Allowed values are the VLAN allowed
values (from 1 to 4,095);
o Start IP Address: specify the lowest IP address allowed to access
management interfaces. IP address must be inserted in dotted
decimal notation;
o End IP Address: specify the highest IP address allowed to access
management interfaces. IP address must be inserted in dotted
decimal notation;
o HTTP/HTTPS: enables, if checked, the host to access the switch
through HTTP and HTTPS protocol at the configured VLAN and the
specified range of IP addresses;
o SNMP: enables, if checked, the host to access the switch through
SNMP protocol at the configured VLAN and the specified range of
IP addresses;
o Telnet/SSH: enables, if checked, the host to access the switch
through Telnet or SSH interface at the configured VLAN and the
specified range of IP addresses.
After one of the configurations described before is changed, there are two buttons
that allow the user to save or discard the configurations.
o Save: save configuration at the Running Config;
o Reset: undo changes made locally at the Running Config.
