5.2.4. SHORT_CIRCUIT_CURRENT alarm
The SHORT_CIRCUIT_CURRENT alarm trips when
the peak current on the load exceeds the maximum
valueallowed during the softstart ramp or at first
power-on (with the softstart ramp disabled).
If configured (parameter Fr.n other than zero), the

maximum Fr.n number of attempts, beyond which it
remains off awaiting manual reset via the front key or
via the command via serial or IO-Link.
The number of trips to switch off the overcurrent
protection device is shown in FO.c1 and FO.c2.
FO.c1 and FO.c2 are updated 30 s after a successful
restart.
The FO.c1 count can be reset by command via serial
or IO-Link.
The SHORT_CIRCUIT_CURRENT alarm is disabled
for IR lamps (see parameter PS.E).
