Continuous measurement with GPS
Continuous measurement with GPS is based on the automatic measurement
with GPS coordinates. If the measurement time is shorter than the data period of
GPS (1 s typically) or if the GPS data are missing for a short time the positioning is
completed by means of interpolation during the data download. The accuracy of
the position depends on the GPR receiver accuracy.
Start of measurement
Choose “GPS Continuous Measurement” from the main menu. The
following screen is shown.
Enter the file name (obligatory), locality name and note (optional). Choose
the calibration (Depth/Cal) and measurement time (Meas. time). If you measure
using CMD-Explorer / MiniExplorer, you are also asked to set the “Main view”,
which determines the receiver shown in screens “1” and “2” during measurement.
If you measure using CMD-Duo, you will be also able to change coil separation, if
needed.
