Firmware upgrade
For the possibility of firmware upgrade it is necessary to check your version
of CMD control unit and probe. (Consulting with GF Instruments is
recommended.)
Calibrations stored in the instrument are not affected by firmware
upgrading.
You can check your firmware version after switching the instrument on –
the version is displayed beside serial number. The newest firmware is available on
request.
Connect CMD control unit (switched off) with PC by means of USB cable
from accessories (to the round middle connector of the control unit).
Leave the probe disconnected if you want to upgrade firmware in the
Control Unit or connect the Probe to the Control Unit if you want to upgrade
firmware in the Probe. It is not possible to run firmware upgrade via Bluetooth
connection. The probe must be connected using a cable.
