Safety Valve Activation
To make the fluid system work perfectly over time, it is good practice to regularly provoke opening of the safety valve.
This avoids clogging and ensures proper function of the safety valve. Opening of the valve is done by turning the pressure
SmartValve to “Pressure draining” or an unused function, when the pump is running. This is good practice for all sprayers,
but particularly for sprayers without optional equipment.

DANGER! Before turning pressure SmartValve to “Pressure draining”, it is very important to be sure that the quick
coupler lid is correctly and completely mounted to the filling stud in its locked position. Failure to do so causes a risk
of contamination and injury from the quick coupler lid being “shot” off when pressurized! If it is not possible to mount
lid completely, lubricate the rubber seal and the grip hooks.
