Taking Offline
To take the library offline using the Operator Panel:
1. From the top menu, press the Down button to select Configuration, and press
Enter.
2. Select Library Settings, and press Enter.
3. Select Online/Offline, and press Enter.
4. Select Offline, and press Enter.
5. Press Cancel to return to the Configuration menu.
6. Press Cancel to return to the top level menu.
7. Press the Down button to select Logout, and press Enter.
To take the library offline using the Web User Interface:
1. Expand Manage Library, if necessary, and click on Library State in the left
navigation pane of the Web User Interface.
2. Click Bring Offline.
3. Click Yes to confirm when prompted.
A message dialog appears when the operation is completed.
4. Click on Log out in the top right corner of the window.
Taking Online
To take the library online using the Operator Panel:

Enter.
2. Select Library Settings, and press Enter.
3. Select Online/Offline, and press Enter.
4. Select Online, and press Enter.
5. Press Cancel to return to the Configuration menu.
6. Press Cancel to return to the top level menu.
7. Press the Down button to select Logout, and press Enter.
To take the library online using the Web User Interface:
1. Expand Manage Library, if necessary, and click on Library State in the left
navigation pane of the Web User Interface.
2. Click Bring Online.
3. Click Yes to confirm when prompted.
A message dialog appears when the operation is completed.
4. Click on Log out in the top right corner of the window.
Powering Down/Restarting the Library
Power down the library for servicing. Restart the library after servicing and for
preparing it for use. These operations can only be performed using the Operator
Panel.
Servicing some components requires that you take the library offline, while servicing
other components requires that you power OFF the library. For details, see “Required
Library State for Repairs” on page 9-2. When library power is switched OFF, the
Picker assembly slowly falls to rest at the bottom of the library.
