Thelowpressurepump(1)(LPP)isfittedontherearofthegearcasingthroughtheflange(3).
It receives power throu gh the coupling (2) which meshes with the front teeth o f the pump gear for the engine coolin g circ u it.
It has the task of pumping the fuel at low pressure to the high pressure pump.

5. By-pass valve (Components 4 and 5 are housed inside the pump).
