Adjust the Needle Thread Tension for
Straight Stitch
Correct tension
(_) Needle thread (Top thread)
(E) Bobbin thread (Bottom thread)
(_) To loosen
(_ To tighten
The ideal straight stitch has threads locked between two lay,

If you took at the needle thread and bobbin thread of a seam,
notice that there are no gaps. Each stitch is smooth and even°
When adjusting needle thread tension, the higher the num-
ber, the tighter the top thread tension..

(_ Right side (Top side) of fabric
0 Wrong side (Bottom side) of fabric
The bobbin thread shows through on the right side of the fab-
ric and it feels bumpy. Turn the dial to a lower tension setting
number to loosen the needle thread tension°
° Tension is too loose
