TACHOMETER/HOUR METER
Always check the engine coolant level
before starting the tractor.
The temperature gauge indicates the en-
gine coolant temperature. Always allow
the tractor to reach its normal operating
temperature before doing work.
Immediate action is required if the tem-
perature exceeds the normal range. Do
not operate the tractor if the temperature
gauge reaches the red section of the
range.

The hour meter shows the number of
hours the tractor has been operated at
rated engine rpm. The last digit (white
background) indicates 1/10 of an hour.
The tachometer indicates engine speed
in revolutions per minute (RPM).

(1) Fuel Gauge
FUEL GAUGE
When the key switch is on, the fuel gauge
indicates the fuel level.
Be careful not to empty the fuel tank. Oth-
erwise air may enter the fuel system.
Should this happen, the system should
be bled (See “Bleeding Fuel System” in
as required in Periodic Service Section.)
