FUEL
Use No. 2 diesel oil.
CAUTION
Contamination with dirt or other for-
eign matter will cause pump wear
and fuel system malfunc-tion. Use
a strainer/filter when fuel cleanli-
ness is in question.
The air vent hole in the fuel cap must
be kept clear for proper engine
operation. Loss of engine power
may result without proper tank ven-
tilation
ENGINE COOLANT
IMPORTANT
Do not open the radiator cap when
the engine is hot. Steam and hot
coolant can escape violently caus-
ing serious injury. Allow the engine
to cool before opening or servicing
the cooling system.

(1) Auxiliary Tank
CHECK THE COOLANT LEVEL
Check the coolant level by inspecting the
auxiliary coolant tank (expansion tank). If
the coolant level is between FULL and
LOW, then the coolant level is normal.
Add coolant only if the level falls below
the LOW mark. Do not overfill.
CAUTION
Do not open the radiator cap except
when testing or changing the
coolant. Correct the coolant level by
adding to the auxiliary tank.
Allow the engine to cool before
opening the radiator cap to avoid
serious burns.
