SWITCHING OFF THE ENGINE

• If you switch off the engine abruptly after heavy opera-
tions without prior cool-down period, the service life of
the engine may be severely impaired. It is recommended
to switch off the engine abruptly only in the event of an
emergency.
1. Check the temperature of the engine with the help of the
coolant temperature indicator (1).
2. If the engine is overheated, you must let it run at medium
speed or 5 minutes before you switch it off, so that the en-
gine can cool down sufficiently.
3. Lower the work unit.
4. Turntheignitionkeyintoitsstopposition‘0’inorderto
switch off the engine.
5. Pull the ignition key from the start switch.
