Switch off the engine if you expect to be standing for a long time.
If the EFI warning lamp (MIL) starts to light up during the journey, stop immediately. If
you shift to neutral, the EFI warning lamp (MIL) begins to blink.

From the flashing rhythm, you can derive a two-digit number, the so-called blink
code. The flashing code tells you which component has a fault.
8.5 Braking
Warning
Danger of accidentsIf you brake too hard, the wheels can lock.
Adapt your braking to the traffic situation and the road conditions.
Warning
Danger of accidentsReduced braking efficiency due to a wet or dirty brake system.
Clean or dry a dirty or wet brake system by riding and braking gently.

Danger of accidentsReduced braking effect caused by spongy pressure point of front or rear brake.
Check the brake system and do not continue riding. (Your authorized KTM workshop will be pleased to help.)

If the foot brake lever is not released, the brake linings drag continuously. The rear brake may fail due to overheating. Take your
foot off the foot brake lever when you are not braking.

Danger of accidentsLonger stopping distance due to higher overall weight.
Take the longer stopping distance into account when carrying a passenger and baggage.
