6.9 Electric starter button

The electric starter button
is fitted on the right side of the handlebar.
Possible states
• Electric starter button in neutral position
• Electric starter button pressed – In this position, the electric starter is operated.
6.10 Ignition/steering lock

The ignition/steering lock
is located in front of the upper triple clamp.
Info
The ignition may only be switched on using a black ignition key.
Use the orange programming key to activate and deactivate the black ignition key.
Possible states
Ignition OFF – In this position, the ignition circuit is interrupted, a running
engine stops, and a non-running engine cannot be started. The black igni-
tion key can be removed.
Ignition ON – In this position, the ignition circuit is closed and the engine
can be started.
Steering locked – In this position, the ignition circuit is interrupted and the
steering locked. The black ignition key can be removed.
