– Raise the fuel tank slightly and attach it to the upper holder.
– Mount and tighten screws .
Guideline
Screw, fuel tank M8 15 Nm
(11.1 lbf ft)

Install the storage compartment. x ( p. 84)
– Install the front side cover. ( p. 80)
– Turn the knurled screws on both fuel taps counterclockwise as far as possible.
– Check the fuel system for leaks.
10.16Checking for chain dirt

– Check the chain for coarse dirt accumulation.
» If the chain is very dirty:
– Clean the chain. ( p. 87)
10.17Cleaning the chain
Warning
Danger of accidents Oil or grease on the tires reduces their grip.
– Remove oil and grease with a suitable cleaning material.
