– Check the brake linings for minimum thickness .
Minimum thickness ≥ 1 mm (≥ 0.04 in)
» If the minimum thickness is less than specified:
–
Change the rear brake linings. x
– Check the brake linings for damage and cracking.
» If there is wear or tearing:
–
Change the rear brake linings. x
Removing the front wheel x
– Jack up the vehicle on the center stand. ( p. 75)
– Bear down on the rear of the vehicle or jack it up on the underride guard.
The front wheel is not in contact with the ground.

– Press the brake calipers by hand on to the brake discs in order to press back the brake
pistons.
