Adjusting Toe-in
1. Park the tractor on the flat place.
2. Turn steering wheel so front wheels are in the straight ahead
position.
3. Lower the implement, lock the parking brake and stop the
engine.
4. Measure distance between tire beads at front of tire, hub height.
5. Measure distance between tire beads at rear of tire, hub height.
6. Front distance should be shorter than rear distance. If not,
adjust tie rod length.
Adjusting procedures
1. Loosen the tie-rod nut (1).
2. Turn the tie-rod joint (2) to adjust the tie-rod length until the
proper toe-in measurement is obtained.
3. Retighten the tie-rod nut (1).
• A right and left tie-rod joint is adjusted to the same length.

Adjusting Air Conditioner Belt Tension (Cabin Type)
• Be sure to stop the engine before checking belt tension.
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Apply moderate thumb pressure to belt between pulleys.
3. If tension is incorrect, loosen the tension pulley mounting nut
and turn the adjusting bolt to adjust the belt tension within
acceptable limits.
4. Replace air-conditioner belt if it is damaged.

Proper air conditioner belt tension
A deflection of between 10 to 12 mm
(0.4 to 0.48 in.) when the belt is
pressed (98 N [10 kgf, 22.1 lbf]) in the
middle of the span.
